Walsh Family Media is offering an internship for a Production Assistant.
ABOUT WFM:
Walsh Family Media is an independent CG Animation studio based out of Brookyn, working on the property The Cool Beans.
WFM has already completed one short film, Keep it Runnin', which has screened at the following film festivals: San Diego Children's Film Festival, Brooklyn Kids Film Festival, Los Angeles Children's Film Festival, Comic-Con Film Festival, Los Angeles County Fair Film Festival, Great Lakes Film Festival.
WFM is currently in production on both a 12-minute short film We Need a Hit and a full-length feature film The Cool Beans, Humbucket Caper.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
WFM Is looking for an ambitious, hardworking and dedicated production assistant that wishes to learn about the CG Animation industry from the aspect of a small studio, working directly with the founder and director.
Job is part-time, unpaid. Must work out consistent schedule.
- Research for: marketing, art, and technical departments.
- Maintain production schedules and work flowchart.
- Writing and distributing meeting minutes.
- Filing and labeling of office records and communications.
- Assist in communication with off-site freelancers.
- Answer phones, take messages.
- Strong proficiency in word, excel, powerpoint and computers is a must (both PC & Mac)
- Knowledge of CG software and pipelines a plus.
- A strong sense of curiosity and sense of humor is essential.
