·8+ years Java/J2EE programming skills
·Thorough understanding of using SQL for large-sized relational databases (DB2 UDB, ORACLE, Sybase)
·Strong Object Oriented Analysis/Design/Programming skills
N-Tier Architectures
Knowledge of Web Services
·Strong testing skills
·Strong debugging and problem solving skills
·Involvement in all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle

·Ability to provide high quality code for production use
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Strong teamwork ethic

Preferred Skills:
·Javascript

· AJAX

· XML

· Weblogic Server 8.x

· MVC Frameworks (Struts or Spring)

· JSP Development

· PVCS

Experience Required:

· 8+ years Development experience on a J2EE Application Server such as Weblogic, Websphere, or JBoss.

Software development experience on large and complex applications

· Experience in software design, interface design, coding and scripting

· Experience developing applications within a disciplined development methodology such as SDLC, UML, etc.

· Working in a collaborative team oriented s/w development environment.

· Working with users to discuss problem analysis, systems modifications and gathering of requirements
