Administer and support databases and other hardware/ software systems on multiplatform including Linux, UNIX and Windows.
Support data network design, installation, planning, support and lab testing of equipment and conduct performance tuning.
Analyze and record test data.
Select hardware and material assuring compliance with product requirements. Design and develop Stored Procedures, UNIX, Shell Scripts, and conduct data migration across multi database platforms and perform backup and recovery.
Responsible for architectring and developing applications and system architectures.
Use of open source technologies such as Apache Web Server, Perl, PHP, MySQL on Windows and Linux environment. Support and maintain LAMP/WAMP based internal applications using Linux/Windows, Apache, PHP/Python and MySQL.
Translate business requirements to system architecture in order to ensure the system will be reliable, available, secure, serviceable, usable, and installable.
Guide team members in the development of quality software and applications, as well as review operations and provide feedback to constantly improving software development processes.
Also involved in writing documentation, user/technical guides and operational manuals for internal and external users.
