This position entails the following job description:
Configure and manage the server applications on multiple platforms including Windows and Linux.
Responsible for monitoring performance and analyzing using logs and traces.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on Windows Server infrastructure.
Analyze and design for the infrastructure architecture.
Responsible for maintaining accurate hardware and software information to enable company wide asset tracking and software compliance standards.
Administer all network configurations for Linux servers including IP address allocation, configuring routes, and configuring interfaces on servers.
Provide Linux support as needed and directed by the project manager.
In addition to this, as part of the responsibilities, responsible for the configuration, installation, management and maintenance of IBM Websphere servers including IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM Websphere Process and Portal Servers. This also includes setting up servers in a clustered environment, load balancing of server, managed nodes/servers, writing scripts for management and deployment and writing build and deployment scripts.
Responsible for the configuration and management of IBM Lotus Domino servers including mail server.
Monitor the systems usage and availability and provide regular reports to the project leader.
Advise on changes required as a result of changed communications within the network supporting infrastructure.
Responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of the network and system infrastructures.
Occasional travel to client sites may be required. Interested candidates must be open for travel and/or relocation to any part of the US.
