Develops and conducts programs to train employees in safety, installation, use, and repair of consumer electronics, appliances, and equipment. Conduct individual and group training on the procedures and techniques required for testing and repair of computer printers. Assists Company in implementing new product testing and repair procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Writes and/or obtains appropriate training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises, as needed
• Demonstrates procedures being taught, such as safety, programming, and repair.
• Confers with plant management and customer's representatives to determine training objectives.
• Lectures class on safety, use, and repair of consumer electronics, appliances, and equipment, following outline, handouts, and texts. Demonstrates procedures being taught, such as safety, use, and repair.
• Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.
• Provides technical assistance where needed in the repair of existing test fixtures and development of new test fixtures.
• Attends meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into training programs
• Observes trainees, answers trainees' questions, and evaluates their progress.
• Records and reports training records to ISO and HR.
• Travels to all company locations as needed for employee training.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
AA Degree Desired but not required
A minimum of 1-3 years experience is desired in the electronics production or repair industry.
Must have strong training education/experience.
COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE
General PC Hardware Experience
