Your contributions:
As a Customer Support Developer, you will work with customers to troubleshoot and develop solutions to their software problems. Specifically, you will be responsible for supporting software and solutions developed by Ideaca for customers after “go live”. In addition, you will develop and provide customers with enhancements to their custom built applications.
• Understand the strategic objectives and business requirements
• Design solutions based on best-of-breed business applications
• Develop the solutions
• Manage the solution end-to-end from inception to end-user training and support

You will focus on:
• Applying your understanding of software development processes to obtain and manage business and system requirements
• Using your knowledge and experience in software development and programming,
• Following Ideaca's methodi - our software implementation best practices
• Ability to identify needs or improvements to existing processes
• Building and maintain positive client and peer relationships
• Demonstrating capabilities in evaluating new techniques and utilizing the key elements
• Establishing confidence in your ability to manage tasks, issues, their priorities and interdependencies
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills

To be successful, you will have the following:
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience in some or all of the following:
? General development practices such as writing unit tests, using source control, writing basic API documentation, following standards guidelines, etc.
? The application of these development methodologies and best practices in a client environment
? Coding skills in: .NET (VB & C#), Perl, SQL
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and to work with a team
