Data Center Lead Architect TS/SCI
Serve as the data center lead architect and provide data center strategy, consolidation and migration planning, and design, implementation, and management support. Manage data center requirements gathering, alternative analysis, and transition roadmap development while identifying the potential impacts that recommended changes have on data center infrastructure, operations and maintenance, and environmental capacity or performance. Apply proven technical experience with data center environmental planning, server-network consolidation and virtualization, and storage management or standardization, including the establishment of common operating environments supporting shared services. Apply experience with managing teams of 4-6 staff, developing and presenting briefings and solutions to senior leadership, and supporting business case and cost-benefit analysis. Develop methodologies or solutions based on industry best practices, including ITIL.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with data center architecture, consolidation, and migration
- Experience with IT consulting
- Experience with managing technical staff
- Experience with data center environmental planning, including power and air handling
- TS/SCI clearance
- BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in a data center managed services or hosting environment
- Experience with industry best practices, including ITIL
- Experience with server consolidation, including virtualization
- Experience with SAN/NAS and Enterprise Tape Backup
- Experience with business case and cost-benefit analysis
- ITIL Certification a plus but not required
Clearance:
