Application Architect -- Oracle ERP
General Purpose of Position:
The Application Architect will leverage an Oracle e-Business suite Applications environment and other technologies across all aspects of the assessment, solution design, concept development, selection, requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment cycles.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Serving as an Internal Consultant to provide technical and application direction at all stages of the applications life cycle.
Performing end-to-end technical and application assessment & feasibility analysis, conducting concept development and evaluating & developing solution designs.
Evaluating alternatives, recommending approaches, leading design and creating solid technical and application solutions for complex business requirements.
Performing applications selection-design-deployment, developing specifications and defining & monitoring application & technical standards.
Proactively reviewing the stability-scalability of applications and participating in project delivery and roadmap development.
Skills and Abilities:
Business and IT experience with in-depth knowledge of business and technical aspects of Oracle e-Business suite.
Thorough understanding of the Oracle Workflow, self-service applications and the ability to research & apply business best practices.
Working in a Linux environment is preferred.
