We are looking for a back end programmer with extensive knowledge of DotNetNuke (DNN) to handle the programming for our websites. This is a part time consulting position where you would work from your own home/office the majority of the time with occasional meetings at our Elmsford, NY offices.
Responsibilities:
? Maintain the SQL backend database system.
? Handle backup procedures and server maintenance.
? Make additions, changes and redesigns (backend) to the company's websites.
? Maintain the integration of the shopping cart system (Monster Commerce).
? Maintain an offline copy of the website for testing and research purposes.
? Work with the internet marketing department to optimize site for SEO & SEM
? Work from home but must be able to come to the office on occasion for meetings with other staff members.
Requirements:
? At least 2 years of DotNetNuke (DNN) programming experience.
? At lease 5 years of website backend programming experience (asp.net, php. Html, java script).
? Immediately reachable via telephone during regular business hours (8:30 am -- 5:30 pm) Monday through Friday.
? One-hour response time (call back) outside of regular business hours for emergency (site down) situations.
? Must be knowledgeable of Windows and Unix hosting environments including backup procedures.
Pluses:
? Front end design experience
? Other programming language knowledge (PHP, Java Script, Flash)
? Knowledge of the computer and console gaming industry
