As a Technology Evangelist in the Developer and Platform Evangelism team, your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working with some of our most strategic customers who run PeopleSoft on the Microsoft Application Platform on the superior business value and technical capabilities of our products and our long-term vision and strategy. Day-to-day activities may include conducting technology assessments, performing system health-checks, delivering technical workshops, building proof-of-concepts, executing application design reviews and code reviews, evaluating configuration management, consulting on porting /migration assistance, and general application platform consulting around PeopleSoft implementations on the Microsoft Application Platform
DPE enjoys one of the most visible positions at Microsoft and is highly sought after by Microsoft account teams for their assistance in complex technology situations in their customer base. As a subject matter expert on PeopleSoft running on the Microsoft Application Platform, you will also play an important role in providing feedback to the business groups to help drive technical strategy and impact our marketing and field sales execution strategies.
To be successful in this exciting and demanding role you must possess excellent presentation skills as well as in-depth technical expertise in both Microsoft and PeopleSoft technologies. Candidates should possess an excellent understanding of implementing PeopleSoft on the Microsoft Application Platform. Successful candidates have experience with both PeopleSoft and SQL Server, exhibit outstanding collaboration skills and are sincerely customer focused. As a basis for success, candidates for this role should have 8-10 years' of relevant experience with PeopleSoft and/or SQL Server. Candidates with demonstrated expertise in other major ERP technologies are especially encouraged to apply. The position will require approximately 50% travel, including internationally.
