Purpose:
* Provide technical support for our client's products and systems through the electronic call tracking system (ECTS).
* Offer on-site technical support for installation, configuration, implementation and maintenance of customer sites worldwide.
* Offer remote-maintenance, diagnosis and repair.
* Offer global support for workstations.
* Coordinate escalations to the product BU's.
* Secure transfer of knowledge.
Responsibilities:
1. 3rd Level Support:
Entry and editing of all escalation-calls via ECTS
Escalation of calls not otherwise solvable to the BU
Remote maintenance, diagnosis and repair by trained service staff
Offer global support for workstations
Application support
2. On-Site Support:
Offer on-site technical support for installation, configuration, implementation and maintenance of customer sites worldwide.
3. Knowledge Transfer:
Create and edit Knowledge-based articles.
Release Knowledge-based articles.
Submit changes to documentation, test-or service-tools to the responsible TPM.
Secure TSM and Technical Trainers globally uniform level of knowledge.
Secure transfer of knowledge from TPM prior to product launch.
4. Quality:
Analyze knowledge-base and implement measures to reduce call volume based on the Technical Support directives.
5. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Required Education - Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related Experience - 5 years in Technical Service or IT/software environment Knowledge of IT, electrical or mechanical engineering
Several years experience supporting Windows-based software and networking Or 5 years in Technical Service or Patient monitoring Environment
Knowledge of vital signs patient monitoring (ECG and heart rate, arrhythmia monitoring, ST monitoring, respiratory, blood pressure, CO, spo2).
Location: Andover, MA
Duration: FTE
