DESCRIPTION
Front-end- AJAX developer to participate in the Product development of a web based Resource management system.
Ideal candidates will have significant experience and proficiency with: XSLT, XML, HTML, JavaScript, XPath (AJAX); this is a pure hard core developer role focused on the front end development; middleware and back end where skills provide. Bridging between prototype and implementation in a Broad browser based application environment.
Experience with any widget toolkits such as Prototype, Scriptaculous, Jquery, Dojo, CSSquery, behaviors, etc. would be a big plus and very desirable.
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
•Implementing XML Http / AJAX based framework for data search and display to reduce data traffic and screens without page reload.
•Develop User Friendly interface for complex business logic.
•Work with Prototypes; Object Oriented JavaScript library. Design and develop OO JavaScript components consisting of JavaScript objects, methods and properties for more efficient Application development.
•Use Document Object Model (DOM), DHTML, CSS and XML for creating and manipulating data, windows, layers, menus, forms, and arrays.
•Develop JavaScript libraries for rendering, state management, event handling and user navigation.
•Implement cross-browser functionality in both IE and Firefox.
•Work with business analysts, project managers and developers to define UI and translate user and business requirements into detailed user interface designs.
•Broad Exposure to the many programming paradigms (OOP, event-driven, declarative, etc.)
•Understanding of general programming concepts and client-side development
•Cross-browser HTML, JavaScript, CSS debugging & development experience
•XPath, XSLT, understand core concepts; foundation for or understanding of advanced techniques
•Motivated, interested, good attitude
