Pointe Technology Group is currently searching for a Java Developer to support our client, Social Security Administration, in Woodlawn, MD(Baltimore). This is a multi-year contract with a competitive annual salary and benefits (we can also work on a corp to corp basis). All employees subject to criminal/credit background check along with drug screening. Details are below. Required Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field. Seven years of progressive experience may be substituted for degree.
Three (3) or more years of specific experience in the following:
JAVA software development
JAVA Server Page (JSP) development
JAVA Script development
STRUTS framework
Hibernate
Rational Application Developer (RAD) v6.0 or higher
WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD)
WebSphere Application Server (WAS), 5.0 or higher
Structured Query Language (SQL)
JAVA Database Connectivity (JDBC)
Desired Qualifications:
- Web Services Development (including implementation)
-Extensible Markup Language (XML)
-Enterprise JAVA Bean (EJB)
-Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language (DHTML)
Position Description:
The successful candidate will provide JAVA-based intranet software development support to design, develop, and maintain applications for the Social Security Administration under the direction of the Technical Lead and Project Management.
