IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER - VoIP


Avaya / CISCO - Network Administrator / Engineer / VOIP expert - Avaya 87xx / Cisco VOIP (ver 4.2+) PBX hardware/software, Cisco IP networking - Routers and Switch configuration / troubleshooting,(ISDN, T1, DS3), VoIP (IP telephony, trunking, etc.) and PSTN gateway.

Below is the job description and requirements:
Supports facilities based on globally approved architectural standards and certified products; and designing and implementing scalable enterprise class voice solutions at our clients various businesses in branch, back office, contact center, and trade floor environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the engineering implementation of enterprise class voice solutions (VoIP, carrier, PBX, voicemail, CMS, etc.)

- Manage all engineering aspects of voice project implementation (physical and logical engineering)

- Produce and/or review project life-cycle related documentation


Technical knowledge (6+ years of the following):

* Avaya 87xx / Cisco VOIP (ver 4.2+) PBX hardware/software

* General knowledge of Linux/UNIX administration (RedHat preferred)

* Voice carrier services (ISDN, T1, DS3)

* Voice system adjuncts (CMS Call Detail Reporting, voicemail, etc.)

* VoIP (IP telephony, trunking, etc.) and PSTN gateway configuration / troubleshooting

* Strong fundamentals of Cisco IP networking - Routers and Switch configuration / troubleshooting (as required for VOIP deployment)

* Call Routing and AutoDialers (Aspect and other Predictive/Courtesy Dialers) are a strong PLUS

Non-technical skills:

* Excellent customer service skills

* Able to work in teams and independently

* Able to manage multiple priorities and time

* Strong written and oral communications

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong influence skills
