Subject Matter Expert:
Consulting--Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients within and outside own area
Extensive Work Experience:
• Experience in Java development environments and Java language, J2EE, EJB, JCA, JMS, web applications, SOAP, Web services, Solaris, Unix, Active Directory, MQ Series, IMS Connect, Oracle, SAN, NAS, and EMC based technologies
• Experience in working with Oracle/SQL Server databases, efficiency in SQL
• Working knowledge of OO principles, UML, Object modeling, Software Design, design patterns and SDLC is a plus
• Experience with software configuration management processes
• Strong knowledge of information technology principles
• Problem solving skills
• Solid design skills and strong knowledge of application architecture
• Knowledge about enterprise application integration
• Familiarity with Database design, database normalization, stored procedures in PL/SQL or T-SQL is a plus
• Knowledge about peripherals and devices and about software integration with devices (swipe devices or other)
• Debug and troubleshooting skills are essential
• UNIX scripting, AWK, Perl is a must
• Knowledge of Banking
• Good grasp of middleware technologies; MQ, SOAP, and IMS Connect
• Managing Multiple Priorities--Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities. effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation.
• Application Delivery Process--Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced.
• Presentations--Ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality
• Interpersonal Relationships--Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Consulting--Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients within and outside own area.
• Conflict Management--Knowledge of tools and techniques for anticipating, recognizing and effectively dealing with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group or situation level
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking--Knowledge of tools and techniques for effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks and perspectives when solving problems
Work Experience:
• Planning: Tactical, Strategic--Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1 - 2 years) and strategic (3 - 5 years) planning in support of the business plan
• Relationship Management--Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors and peers
