This position of Software Engineer entails the following job responsibilities:
• Review project requirements to define programming specifications and define solution architectures;
• Collect and analyze requirements, designing application architecture and preparing specification documents;
• Develop new systems to improve production of work flow;
• Use of modeling tools to document/present the analysis, design and architecture of the applications.
• Provide technical support of existing application, review code, modify/fix code using Java and Microsoft .NET technologies
• Develop, implement, and maintain web-based programs and applications for complex information systems; Use of Object Oriented technologies such as Java and C++ to build applications;
• Develop applications using C++, Java, J2EE, HTML, XML and Microsoft .NET framework including ASP, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.NET; Utilizing web server such as Internet Information Server IIS;
• Design databases using Erwin and enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server;
• Report designing and development using Crystal Report; and,
• Report, analyze and document test results to ensure conformity with the business needs and requirements and recommend improvements to data quality and testing procedures; and facilitate defect tracking and problem determination throughout the software development cycle.
Occasional travel to client sites may be required. Interested candidates must be open for travel and/or relocation to any part of the US.
