SHORT SCOOP: Degreed and 3+ yrs exp in SAP project management including analysis, gathering requirements & developing solutions; must be proficient in SAP NetWeaver BI. Road warrior--up to 75% travel.
SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst, SAP BI for gathering requirements (reporting or data), performing functional analysis, and defining/building solutions within SAP NetWeaver BI. He/she serves as senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Data Warehousing (specifically SAP NetWeaver BI). Road warrior--up to 75% travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs requirements analysis and develops solutions for business reporting or data needs
* Partners with business leaders to translate process and functional needs into technical requirements
* Defines and configures SAP BI content according to business requirements and test configurations
* Develops prototypes, functional specifications, mapping, test scripts, and templates
* Coordinates, implements, and communicates system change requirements
* Educates others in workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics
* Performs broad, complex, tightly-integrated business processes on large ERP projects
* Provides support to internal staff and training on SAP projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 3+ yrs SAP configuration exp
* Exp with SAP NetWeaver BI
* Possesses technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes
* Ability to develop integrated solutions within broad technical/business contexts.
