This position of Computer Programmer Analyst entails the following job responsibilities:
• Review project requirements to define programming specifications and develop project documentation and operating guidelines;
• Develop new systems to improve production of work flow;
• Use of modeling tools to build use cases and class diagrams to model and design business applications;
• Convert the logical design to define programming objects and interfaces to code;
• Develop, implement, and maintain web-based programs and applications for complex information systems; Use of Object Oriented technologies such as C++ to build applications;
• Develop applications using C++, HTML, XML and Microsoft .NET framework including ASP, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.NET;
• Utilizing web server such as Internet Information Server IIS;
• Use of enterprise databases such as SQL Server to develop database driven applications.
• Provide technical support of existing applications, review code, modify/fix code using SQL, JavaScript, VB and ASP;
• Use of version control software such as CVS;
• Use of defect tracking software to log defects;
Some travel to client sites may be needed. Interested candidates must be open for travel and/or relocation to any part of the US.
