Business Resource Solutions, LLC is a shared services organization representing Glacier Technologies LLC for all Human Resource and recruiting activities. Glacier Technologies LLC is currently seeking candidates for the following opening: Senior Network Engineer.
The senior network engineer must have 6 years of experience working with Cisco switches and routers and F5's Big IP and 3DNS load balancers. Must be able to work closely with the development teams to understand the application needs and configure the environment accordingly. The engineer must have a very solid understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity environments and be able to implement a robust global high availability service using F5's 3DNS systems. Experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise level data networks is required. The engineer's experience must include firewalls, network security, MPLS NNI, MPLS CP, IPTEL/VoIP and virtual private networking (VPN). Broad experience must include implementing enterprise network management, troubleshooting using protocol analyzers, and maintaining enterprise networks. The network engineer must understand and have experience with a multitude of platforms, enterprise/networking applications, and tools. Appropriate certifications required to support skills and experience. The Senior network engineer will analyze and implement redundant and high availablility network segments, configure routing and NAT, and other common network administration tasks as necessary. Ability to work under high stress environments, but with refined customer service skills is required. The engineer must be a hands-on professional possessing strong problem-solving, leadership, organization and communication skills. The engineer demonstrates core competencies of Global Network Design and implementation; Network troubleshooting; awareness of customer needs; Network & Systems Security; Business Impact Analysis; Regulatory Adherence; Data Integrity/Recovery; Disaster Recovery Planning; Contingency Planning; Research & Development; Risk Assessment; and Cost Benefits Analysis.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. Specialized training in Network implementation and Load Balancing.
Minimum of 5+ to 7 years experience working with Cisco switches and routers and F5's Big IP and 3DNS load balancers. The load balancer/network engineer must be proficient with all web-related technologies and how they should be load balanced. Must be proficient at network analysis, design, and documentation.
