Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, administering, and supporting various applications as assigned.
There is a significant focus on the SoftMed (electronic medical record) suite of applications.
Responsible for identifying issues as system, training, or process related and recommend corrections.
Experience with HL7 interfaces, electronic medical records, and hospital revenue cycle processes is a plus.
This position will include leading projects 40% of the time and the selected candidate will develop detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in conjunction with other account team associates.
When involved in project management this role will assist with coordinating unit testing of modules and software before implementation.
This person will also provide after-hours “on-call” support to troubleshoot and resolve system problems escalated by the front line support team.
To succeed, one must possess strong communications skills and experience dealing with conflicting priorities.
Required Skills:
Experience supporting EMR (any vendor)
Minimum of 5 years experience in a BA role
Healthcare industry experience
Desired Skills:
Experience within the Hospital Revenue Cycle
Experience with SoftMed document management applications
Experience with Siemens Resource Scheduling and/or Invision
Strong organizational skills
Intermediate project management skills.
