Senior Software Engineers - 4 OPENINGS; Job Number (SSE-MS022)
Description:
We are looking for cutting edge developers for upgrading the functionality of a large system. The product supports a high availability / highly reliable network providing communications services for a government Agency. Coding experience with the technologies listed below is a must, software architecture experience a plus.
This work will be heavy on coding, design and requirements analysis. Applicants should be prepared to solve potential optimizations and issues related to porting from 32 bit to 64 bit platforms. There also will be new applications, and user interface work.
Project information:
• Legacy code is C++, all new code in C#.
• Developing new features is the main purpose of the work.
• Customer wants to expand functions.
• Work will be performed evenly at the back, middle and front end.
• GUI and reports development.
Must Have Skills for Principle Software Engineers:
We are seeking strong experience with working knowledge in these areas:
• Must have a strong software system design, analysis, and development skills.
• Must have 6+ years of development experience in C# and .Net technologies.
• Must have 7+ years of development experience in C++
• Must have 3+ years of development experience with .NET Web Services.
• Must have 1+ years of development experience with Socket programming.
• Must have 4+ years of development experience in ASP.Net.
• Experience with object oriented design and development.
• Experience with real-time, N-tier client/server architectures.
• Experience developing large-scale systems highly desirable.
Must Have Skills for Senior Software Engineers:
We are seeking strong experience with working knowledge in these areas:
• Must have a strong software analysis and development skills.
• Must have 4+ years of development experience in C# and .Net technologies.
• Must have 5+ years of development experience in C++
• Must have 1+ years of development experience with .NET Web Services.
• Must have Socket programming knowledge.
• Must have 4 years of development experience in ASP.Net.
• Experience with object oriented design and development.
• Experience with real-time, N-tier client/server architectures.
• Experience developing large-scale systems highly desirable.
Additional Qualities:
• Professional attitude towards work.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Must be able to communicate effectively on a technical level.
Useful (not essential) experience:
• Oracle /SQL programming including stored procedures and Relational Database Development.
Other Job requirement:
• Sensitive Public trust Clearance is required .

Education:
