We are looking for a Technical Writer -- Taylor/Tx.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Technical Writer will assist the Readiness Staff in writing, reviewing, and editing procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
•Write, edit, review, and finalize procedures drafted by the staff with varying writing skills.
•Ensure procedures are consistently published in accordance with established documentation principles.
•Create and maintain procedures for use by technical and administrative staff.
•Obtain technical information from project developers, program managers, product managers, testers and product support personnel and convert specific feedback into procedure documentation.
•Solicit and incorporate inputs to create department level procedures (typically 1 to 2 pages each) for both technical and administrative (all) departments within.
•Assist in other areas as required.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
•Minimum of 2 years experience or a BA/BS in Journalism, English, Technical Communications or a related writing or technical field.
•Proven technical or business writing and editing skills.
•Proficiency with computer applications for word processing and presentations.
•Ability to work effectively with peers in a team-oriented environment.
•Ability to maintain an exceptional level of customer and business focus.
•Ability to manage and work independently with several departments concurrently with minimal supervision.
•Excellent organizational skills.
•Very high level of attention to detail.
•Excellent oral communications skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
