Business Resource Solutions, LLC is a shared services organization representing SpecPro Technical Services for all Human Resource and recruiting activities. SpecPro Technical Services is currently seeking candidates for the following opening: Jr. Network Engineer.
Knowledge of and experience with local area technologies such as Ethernet, IP protocol, as well as the physical media (copper and fiber optic cabling) and equipment associated with each (Nortel and/or Cisco experience a plus. Experience in LAN protocol management to include address management and network protocol configuration (IP, NetBIOS, and other miscellaneous protocols). Knowledge of and experience with wide area technologies such as T1 and DS3. Experience with the Cisco IOS to include configuration, troubleshooting and upgrading of routing tables, ACL's, interfaces and protocols. Knowledge and understanding of Multiplexers, bridging (source route, transparent, translational) technology. Knowledge of information security, hands-on experience with firewalls such as Cisco PIX or Juniper NetScreen a plus
Working knowledge of Network General Sniffer, Aglient Advisor, Fluke and other protocol capture and decode analyzers and applications is a plus. Experience with configuration management and documentation, to include change process management and records management.
Minimum of 1-2 years of network experience or a 4-year degree in a computer technical field.

Remedy trouble ticketing system and Solar Winds monitoring software experience is a plus
