Our teams are hard at work on our next films, Bolt, directed by Chris Williams, The Princess and the Frog, directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and Rapunzel, directed by Glen Keane and Dean Wellins.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Web Developer to join the team at our Burbank, CA studio.
The Infrastructure Web Developer is a software development engineer with experience in web development for internal database applications including business analysis databases, production management databases, etc.
The individual will be highly analytical, be able to rapidly prototype based on user needs and have experience evolving database structures. The successful candidate will also be able to contribute to software application development and support using Java, scripting languages (Python and Perl), C++, and C.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
•3+ year's software development including notable experience with C++/Java application development
•Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell Script, Python and/or Perl)
•Familiar with Linux, OS/X, Windows NT/2000/XP
•Excellent communication & customer service skills
•Experience developing web based applications using one or more of the following:
* Java
* Ruby on Rails
* Django
* Database SQL/ODBC/JDBC, MSSQL, MySQL
Strongly Desired:
•Knowledge of Source Code Control (ClearCase, CVS, SCCS)
•Experience with building and releasing third-party software including open source software
Desired:
•Previous experience in an animation, visual effects or video game production environment
