JOB DETAILS
Project Overview: This project will integrate Guardianship payments into the current TMHP LTC Claims Management System (CMS), which will result in one claims processing system for DADS LTC provider claims the integrated applications will be using WebSphere, JAVA, Oracle, etc.
The services to be provided include, but are not limited to the following:
A. Work with team to analyze the current applications.
B. Design, develop and deploy databases and schemas related to this project.
C. Interface with other migration groups to ensure a consistent migration strategy.
D. Other duties as assigned.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5+ Experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Database architectures on the Oracle platform
5+ Experience in using Oracle and PL/SQL
5+ SQL programming experience. Knowledge of JDBC interactions with relational databases. Ability to create, read and understand Oracle/Sybase based stored procedures or a related database application (e.g.,DB2).
3+ Experience validating business requirements and design specifications with users
3+ Experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios
2+ Experience with Websphere
2+ Experience with SDLC
Strong Analytical, interpersonal, technical, and both oral and written communication skills
Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
2 Experience as PSQL Developer
2 Experience with JAVA
1 Experience with Informatica tools
1 Development experience with PERL
1 Experience with UNIX Scripting
1 Experience with COBOL
Oracle Certification
Solid understanding of data transformation, data migration and data flows
TERM OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start approximately April 1, 2008 through August 31, 2008. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 906 hours. This service may be amended, renewed and/or extended providing both parties agree in writing to do so.
WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
A. Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the DADS. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. Some after hours and weekend work may be required but are not expected to be routine. After hours and weekend work will be managed as flex time, with time off equivalent to the number of hours worked outside the normal schedule.
B. The primary work location(s) will beat the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services facility, located at 701 W. 51st Street, Austin, Texas.
