Title:Flash Programmer
Location:Philadelphia, PA
Length:3+ month contract

RESPONSIBILITIES
**Effectively interpret a client's needs as outlined in creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual designs.
**Contribute to the design of web interfaces using techniques based on usability theory and concepts related to creating visual flow.
**Design web graphics using Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator or Freehand
**Combine design theory and take into consideration content, navigational structure and usability issues to create a powerful and integrated experience.
**Design/ Develop interfaces that demonstrate an understanding of a partners needs.
**Work with partners and other developers to explain design concepts and manage design feedback.
**Apply your deep understanding of typography, illustration, storyboarding and iconography.
**Work within project schedules and within deadlines.
**Collaborate with Art Director and Project Lead to ensure your designs are consistent with partners expectations and overall project goals.
**Diffuse problems and put forward solutions that are in the best interest of the partner.
REQUIREMENTS
**An Associates or Bachelor**s Degree in Web Design, Web Development, Comp. Sci, Multimedia Design or related field.
**3-5 years of design experience with at least 3 years of experience in developing websites and applications in an Agency environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS
**You are adept at relevant design software particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
**Experience applying theories related to color schemes, use of space, text placement, usability and visual flow
**In depth experience with DHTML and Flash ActionScript (2.0/3.0), Javascript, CSS
**Understanding and working knowledge of FLEX programming is a HUGE plus.
**Understands and is able to create content specification and design guidelines
**Strong communication and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced agency environment.
