As the talented and energetic, Web Graphic Designer you will assist our design team with original design conceptualization and development of web site and web application interfaces and design maintenance for current projects.
You should have a strong interest in building web sites and applications for high-profile clients within a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
You will:
* Work closely with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and other team members to achieve client creative objectives
* Develop professional web pages and user interface designs with a strong focus on detail, quality, usability and maintaining design consistency
* Perform maintenance and content publishing tasks through various Content Management System (CMS) and web-based publishing tools
Requirements:
* Professional experience designing, building and maintaining web sites
* Strong graphic arts ability
* Working experience with HTML and CSS
* Solid background and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Fireworks for producing and optimizing graphics for the Web
* Working knowledge of other Web development and graphic design software, including Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
* Experience working collaboratively across multiple functional areas to implement web site design initiatives
* Ability to handle a number of projects simultaneously and maintain creativity in deadline-driven environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Online portfolio or list of URLs to previous work is required for consideration
Would prefer, but not required:
* Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS ** ability to slice final composition into graphic files and build the HTML template and CSS style sheet for a web site
* Working knowledge of web standards and CSS-driven layouts ** DIV tags and advanced design compositions
* An understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issues
* Adobe Flash web design and light programming
