Connection Strategies Enterprises, Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an open Security Analyst position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE:
** The Corporate Information Security Office assures protection of information assets - the privacy of employee, partner and rider information, as well as brand reputation.
** The Security Analyst position is part of a team of security analysts meeting operational goals. This position will provide technical input and perform on projects within business or major technical areas. The Security Analyst position will be responsible for participating in security architecture standards development and providing security architecture input throughout the SDLC.
** This position will participate in security architecture reviews, participate in and assist in analysis and completion of a risk-based analysis including risk, consequence, and likelihood.
** Will be involved in writing server-side code for web-based applications, for both internal and external use. The analyst should have a good understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development. Experience in development for Identity and Access Management applications a plus.
** In lieu of the education requirement, a combination of relevant education and experience is accepted. The equivalent definition is 2 years of relevant experience for each full year of education required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
** Bachelor**s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
** Requires a minimum of 4 years of information systems experience, with at least 1 year in Information Security controls.
** Strong Java skills and object oriented design experience, including working knowledge of core libraries, design patterns, JSP and Servlets.
** Development experience in a Unix/AIX environment.
** Experience with C++, JavaScript, and/or SOAP desired
** Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, XML web services, and agile development methodologies desired.
** Knowledge of WebSphere and Access/Identity management applications a plus.
