Connection Strategies Enterprises, Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an open Enterprise Architect position. IDEAL CANDIDATES WOULD POSSESS A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
** Strong Microsoft Office skills with expertise in Microsoft Visio.
** Experience using Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as Zachman, TOGAF, DoDAF, or FEAF.
** Works with many technical disciplines such as Windows, AIX, Linux, and VMS.
** Strong RDMS background and understanding with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
** Practical understanding of Web Server technologies such as IIS and Apache.
** Demonstrated competence in either developing applications utilizing .NET or J2EE. SOA experience a plus.
** Has written and executed RFI/RFP processes in order to correctly evaluate and recommend the correct technology, application, or product.
** Designed and/or implemented an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) program in a large and complex environment. Experience needed utilizing XML or HL7.
** Practical experience using UML and OOAD in order to properly map out technical solutions in a common format for all project members.
** Strong understanding of project management methodologies, standards, and techniques.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE
** Builds and leads all aspects of architecture design for new technologies or modifications to existing systems.
** Acts as technical expert regarding enterprise architecture development, techniques, and solutions. Evaluates implemented solution to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of new solutions. Documents, simplifies and consolidates existing applications and processes to ensure desired future state architecture.
** Performs the highest level of technical research and consulting regarding architecture techniques, ensuring that new applications and interfaces integrate with related systems and match to the future architecture blueprint.
** Creates formalized processes and leads several phases for the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for applications and interfaces including concept development, systems analysis and planning, procurement, and design.
** Partners with and provides guidance to Business, Process, and Data Analysts.
** Acts as a liaison between business partners and Information Systems Department to create architecture blueprints that balance the needs of both groups, while aligning with the future architecture.
** Develops technical standards, processes, and metrics surrounding the SDLC phases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
** Knowledge of management information systems and computer science equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited bachelor's degree program.
** Knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through a minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in information systems, business applications analysis and enterprise architecture development within a complex environment, to include experiences leading enterprise architecture design and implementation.
** Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills and exhibits ability to build solid working relationships with clients and peers.
** Excels in working with diverse groups of clients across multiple locations.
** Passionate worker who effectively balances planning, formalized processes, deadlines, change, and results effectively.
** Excellent team player and mentor with ability to delegate tasks, make decisions, and who is accountable for actions.
** Knowledgeable the latest technologies and business processes.
** Demonstrated ability to define, review, and approve system-design specifications, process models, data-flow diagrams, and network architecture diagrams.
** Strong ability to exercise judgment and creativity in analyzing and solving unusual complex or ambiguous problems that arise.
** Confidentiality and good organizational skills.
** Ability to work within a fast-paced, challenging environment.
