We have a very long-term contract opportunity for an experienced technical writer in Sugar Land for a global company. The position is expected to last through the end of the year. You will write a user manual for a EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) developed by the client. You will also be responsible for end-user training manuals.

Along with a Bachelors Degree and strong technical writing background the following is required:

XML-based authoring/editing tools such as Epic/Arbortext Editor (preferred) or XMetal
Adobe products (Acrobat, IllustratorCS, Photoshop, Captivate)
Help system design and architecture
