We currently have a client with an opening for the following permanent position in San Jose, CA:
Oracle MFG Business Analyst
*Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies.
*Partner with business representatives at all levels to assess, refine, and drive appropriate technology solutions.
* Must be able to understand not only the technical aspects of Oracle applications, but the functionality as well.
*Maintains a detailed knowledge of the business' current technology and infrastructure.
* Takes ownership of problems or support issues that arise in the operation of assigned business systems, ensuring that all issues are resolved in an expedient fashion and to user satisfaction.
*The ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent task/projects is required.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have 5+ years experience as Business Analyst working with the Oracle Applications (OM, AR, Customer Master, Installed Base).
* Must have at least 2-3 full-life cycle implementations including one as a functional or technical lead.
* Must have functional experience with Oracle Applications 11i module configuration and processes for the following Modules: OM, Inventory, Advanced pricing, Install base and service contracts. Familiarity with WMS and/or discrete manufacturing would be a big plus.
* Has in depth knowledge of Customer service processes such as Order booking, scheduling, ATP, drop ship and samples management.
* Must be knowledgeable in underlying Oracle Apps database architecture with regard to OM schemas, application program interfaces (APIs), data elements, tables and views as basis for troubleshooting, data conversion, Order discrepancies, and reporting support
