IDEAL CANDIDATES WOULD POSSESS A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING SKILL SETS:

**Proven experience working with a range of DBMS's and data warehousing tools in different operating environments.
**Qualified candidate will have successfully participated in the design, deployment and support of a large, complex data warehouse/data mart.
**Experience in data warehouse design, data modeling, transactional database and/or dimensional database design and implementation.
**Experience in data analysis, data cleansing, and data transformation and migration using ETL tools.
**Familiarity with star schemas, OLAP, multi-tier data warehouse architectures, metadata, and multi-dimensional cubes.
**Experience with stored procedures development and installed and configured DBMS's.
**Knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures.
**Understanding of Business Intelligence architectures.
**Demonstrated experience using conceptual, logical, and physical database design principles.
**Experience working with a Data Modeling Case Tool (Erwin, ERStudio, System Designer, System Architect, Case Studio)
**SQL proficiency.
**Ability to quickly locate and analyze data.
**Ability to come up with the best solution for given requirements.
**Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
**Strong personal motivation with excellent work and positive, team-oriented mindset.
**Must be a team-player and be able to work closely with technical teams and business users of the Data Warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE:

**Creates and maintains Enterprise Data Architecture.
**Gather and convert business requirements into logical data models.
**Designs, implements and maintains complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, storage allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
**The design of the database models will include on-line transactional data stores, analytical data warehouses and specific data marts for both online analytical processing (OLAP) and on-line transactional processing (OLTP) used by individual business units to support specific software applications.
**The position has both strategic and tactical responsibility for developing and maintaining the Conceptual and Logical Models for larger, more complex relational (including dimensional) environments and projects.
**Responsible for database support, data movement, and master data management.
**Identify opportunities for data reuse.
** Ability to gather business requirements from business units and ability to conduct data modeling design reviews with business units to verify data model captures project-scoped business functionality.
**Conduct data model walk through and design review sessions.
**Support ETL/Application development lifecycle.
**Define and develop designs to support departmental and functional data marts.
**Provide input to data modeling and physical database development standards with the Data Modeling Team.
**Ability to develop and maintain data quality and metadata strategies for enterprise.
**Design a data dictionary and metadata framework.
**Provide source system analysis from the operational systems for the purpose of data mapping requirements.
**Provide support for the Data Quality process.
**Collaborate with others in the definition of enterprise data modeling naming conventions.
**Ability to follow data architecture best practices, help define standards and principles to be defined in the Data Architecture Framework.
**Work closely with analytical and reporting infrastructure teams to ensure operational and analytical data warehouses are able to support all business requirements for OLAP reporting across the organization.
**Provide mentoring on data architecture.
**Provide subject matter expertise in Data warehouse / Business intelligence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

**Certification(s) in SQL - MCDBA or UDB.
**Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
