MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Technical Writer JW6292 with 5 years of technical writing experience. Must have demonstrated writing experience in a technical environment. Must have Visio knowledge along with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and processes. Thorough understanding of project methodologies and standard MS Office suite of products including, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint required. Process modeling techniques and group facilitation skills also required.
You will work with CATIA V5 project personnel and the Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technology support group to develop documentation and processes to support the implementation of engineering software. You will gather, define and document business requirements for project and support staff.
Work with release management to document new processes related to software releases, testing and environments. Document inefficiencies or gaps in existing processes and recommend specific and innovative changes to effect improved efficiencies. Evaluate and recommend improvements/changes to management. Lead meetings to gain consensus and approval for requirements and processes.
