We currently have a client with the following permanent position:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst role supports the Testing Lead in the development and coordination of packaged software testing plans as part of the software development life cycle. This role will coordinate multiple, simultaneous tasks and highlight risk to the overall testing/project plan. The QA Analyst will ensure that the Project Management Office has an accurate and timely picture of the current phase test status through coordination with multiple workstreams of the project.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Qualified candidates must possess the ability to:

1. Provide assistance in developing process-oriented software test scripts that support the overall testing plan and project methodology
2. Run and analyze reports on current test status across multiple workstreams
3. Highlight workstream trends, risks and variances to the testing plan
4. Create reports and update metrics that highlight overall project performance
5. Organize documentation of testing plans, status and approval in order to comply with internal audit Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements
6. Support the Testing Lead and Project Manager with developing reports and presentations for management review

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering or a related discipline required
2. Experience in system configuration and testing/QA functions preferred
3. Experience with Mercury Test Director or SAP Solution Manager preferred
4. Proven ability to work under pressure and coordinate cross-functional activities
5. Must possess solid PC skills/Microsoft Office Products
6. Requires excellent problem solving, oral and written communication, and interpersonal relationship skills
7. Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to manage and lead change in an organization
