Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior WEB Developer to work out of Vancouver.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibility for developing and customizing Portal Software using XSL templates tightly integrated with JavaScript and AJAX libraries and CSS.

Work in small client-service team.

Skills and Experience

Extensive experience programming XSL/XSLT and familiarity with XPath.

In depth understanding of XML, DTD and XML schemas.

Experience with building usable and functional web applications

Attention on efficiency, elegance and reusability of code.

Solid web-graphic production skills working with Photoshop and Illustrator

Expert at resolving cross-browser related issues

Desirable Skills
Extensive practical experiences developing advanced CSS, JavaScript and AJAX and authoring company wide scripting libraries or enhancing existing ones.

Strong interest in usability and sense of design.

Education

Computer Science Degree or Technical Multimedia Degree
