This is a 11 months contract in Plano, TX 75024
Job Description:
Utilize the PepsiCo Project Lifecycle Methodology and Operational processes including Change Control.
Develop scripts to automate processes.
Partner with customers to gather project requirements and implement monitoring.
Enable further deployment of Systems Management tools.
Maintain health of the environment by keeping the environment current with upgrades and patches and by troubleshooting and resolving issues with the
associated tools.
Provide technical consulting.
Assist in building the Roadmap to plan the sunset of legacy monitoring solutions and migrate monitored components to the new Enterprise solution.
This role supports the PBSG HPOV Enterprise Monitoring infrastructure in delivering and maintaining Systems Management Event Monitoring capability. Principal
Accountabilities: Implementation and support of the Enterprise Systems Management Monitoring solution (HP Openview) enabling robust Event Monitoring across
all strategic platforms, Databases, Network, Web, SAP, TIBCO, and others as well as Service Level Agreement and Business Impact monitoring.

Skill Sets
Current working knowledge and experience with HPOV Suite of products including: HP OVU, HP NNM, HP OVIS, HP BAC/SIS, HP OVPA, HP Reporter, HP SPI (TIBCO,
WebLogic, Oracle, DB2, Apache, wintel, HPUX, AIX, Linux, OV Reporter. Must have recent experience with building and managing HPOV monitoring templates.
Superb analysis and troubleshooting skills. Application development or engineering experience, baseline support experience, demonstrated customer
communication skills, and excellent interpersonal communications. Experience with Enterprise Systems Management tools. Undergraduate degree in Computer
Science, Mathematics, Business or Information Systems Management Desired Technical Skills: Problem Solving, Analysis, Database and Reporting skills, HP
OpenView Operations and Network Node Manager, OVO UNIX Administration, IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console, Distributed Monitoring, and NetView, Microsoft
Operations Manager. HP-UX, AIX, Win2003, Win2000, WinNT, Novell, XP PERL, UNIX Shell Scripting, Java, Windows Batch Scripting, C or C++, Prolog, VBScript,
SNMP and SNMP MIBs.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with HP Openview products mentioned with essential skills area.
