Data Warehouse Consultants (www.dwconsultants.com) is seeking a BI Architect/Analyst.
Position Summary:
The BI Architect/Analyst is responsible for developing Business Intelligence solutions within a SQL Server 2005 environment while participating in the overall Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence strategy.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop Business Intelligence reports primarily using SSRS, SSAS
• Provide comprehensive, user-friendly technical design documentation for all development projects
• Support business analysts with ad-hoc ReportBuilder reports
• Perform maintenance and enhancements for developed applications
Core Competencies:
• Business Intelligence Development Services
• Data Architecture
• Master Data Management requirements definition
• Expert SQL skills
• Exceptional customer engagement, interpersonal, presentation and overall communication skills
• Track record of successful implementations as a key developer in multiple BI/DW initiatives
• Excellent understanding and experience in Dimensional Modeling in large scale production environments using star schemas
• Successful track record of Microsoft technologies including SQL Server 2005/Analysis Services
Preferred Competencies:
• Visual Studio 2005
• Advanced SQL Skills (Tuning, ETL, Aggregation)
• Advanced MDX Skills a plus
• Advanced XML Skills a plus
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with an Information Technology focus
• 5 + years of relevant development experience
• 5 + years of relevant experience in administration, configuration and customization of Microsoft's SQL Server Platform and .NET Framework
• 2 + years of consulting or consulting related experience
