In this exciting role, we are looking for editors who can join the team to develop documentation that describes styles, tools, and processes in support of a content publishing team.
Responsibilities include:
Writing and editing online documentation, for which the audience is a team of programming writers, programming editors, and documentation production engineers. Content written or edited must be accurate, clear, and consistent while satisfying style, globalization, branding, legal, and business requirements.
Working effectively with writers and other team members to develop new content and revise existing content, verifying correct use of styles, product names, and verifying consistent use of terminology across large sets of content.

Job Requirements for the Editor role must include the following:
Proven writing ability
Proven research and interviewing skills
Proven content organization skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration with writers
Mastery of the style documented in the Style Guide for Technical Publications
Knowledge of development tools in a corporate environment o Reliable organizational ability
Proven problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the developer audience
Ability to recognize and identify editorial changes that modify technical meaning
Proven understanding of state-of-the-art software architectures
Some knowledge of Windows programming
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated work experience in technical content development is preferred.
Must be able to understand and provide feedback in the context of the larger picture.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and have the ability to be proactive in solving problems related to scheduling and documentation
