Our client, located near Tyngsboro, MA is seeking a hands-on, customer-oriented Senior IT Technical Support Engineer or Manager to work as part of the team and oversee, mentor and train a team of local and remote IT technicians.

Responsible for overseeing systems installation, integration, project management, training and customer support of the company's high-tech hardware and software product line. Hiring and management of the phone, in-house and field service staff including development of processes, procedures, FAQ's, vendor negotiations, documentation of installations, testing of new software releases at customer site and escalation of change requests to management.

Must have extensive hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Windows Server and workstation products, SQL, networking. Must have strong communication, diagnostic, troubleshooting, project management and leadership skills.
Knowledge of SMTP, FTP, DNS, TCP/IP; SQL administration and disaster recovery. Knowledge of audio/video signal flow is a plus.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years' experience in a customer-facing, technical customer support leadership position supporting multiple outside clients (not internal) is required. Must be able to travel (approximately 15%) both domestic and international. Valid passport or ability to obtain one is required.
