Business Analyst / Project Manager

Our client, a dynamic, rapidly-growing company is looking for mid-level to senior-level Business Analyst / Project Managers to join their team in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago as a full-time employee. Responsibilities:

* Take “Ownership” for yourself and work in a Results Oriented Work Environment (ROWE).
* Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Solicit software requirements from stakeholders.
* Track changes to requirements.
* Manage the product backlog.
* Facilitate backlog refinement meetings.
* Gain deep understanding of customer process and workflows.
* Work with the software team to develop and document functional and non-functional requirements.
* Knowledge of basic tools to collect and manage software requirements.
* Make technical presentations to peers.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers and stakeholders.
* Lead small group meetings.
* Take personal ownership and drive for results.
* Facilitate sprint planning sessions, contributing ideas and asking questions to ensure that all aspects of functionality being planned are adequately covered.
* Participate in daily stand-up meetings.
* Assist other team members as needed.
* Mentor new team members.
* Participate in the software community through online forums, local user group meetings, etc.

* A high level of cognitive ability. Our client hires smart people that learn quickly.
* Knowledge of Agile -- SCRUM development methodology.
* Knowledge of Quality Management Regulations ( 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO-13485 ).
* Exceptional verbal and written communication, problem solving, and client relationship skills.
* Ability to work as a team, and be responsible to your peers.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related Engineering discipline.
* Ability to travel domestically once or twice a quarter (3-5 days at a time).
* BioTech / Medical Diagnostics industry experience is a plus.
