Description: Severstal North America, one of the largest steelmakers in the United States specializing in the next generation of high quality, flat-rolled, carbon steel products, has a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Metallurgical Coding Engineer in Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Translate customer POs to set of technical work instructions for each operating unit
- Maintain specification library and represent SNA on various ASTM/SAE technical committees
- Work with customers to negotiate specifications and reply to product inquiries
Requirements:
- BS in Metallurgy or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in steelmaking and processing
- Strong steel industry and metallurgical knowledge
