The Web Developer III participates as technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. Utilizes a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations to bring corporate goals and strategies to reality. Works on projects that range from simple intranet applications to complex home banking system components and participates in establishing deadlines.
Day to day responsibilities:
•Analyzes, revises, or directs revisions of existing programs to increase/optimize operating efficiency or adapt new requirements.
•Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them.
•Uses customer feedback to improve application functionality.
•Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code for a component of the website.
•Integrates web applications with backend databases.
•Deploys web-based transaction systems using application servers.
•Researches, tests, builds and coordinates the integration of new products and services per production and client requirements.
•Develops custom programs written in .NET languages such as C#, VB.Net, or ASP.Net 1.1, 2.0, 3.5 (4.0 a plus).
•Proficient with both ASP.NET Webforms and ASP.NET MVC
•Creates front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML and SQL, C#, VB.Net and ASP.NET or other languages to make business applications web accessible.
