Our client is looking for a Java Technical Consultant. The role is to work with their partners and advise, architect and lead development on their mobile app server components.

The candidate must be able to effectively interact with stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements, prepare technical documents and drive delivery.

In addition, they should have consulting professional experience to understand approaches, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical guidance to clients and partners. It is essential that the successful candidate be proactive, eager to learn, and to have a 'Can Do' attitude.

Note: This position will require working out of our client's offices in the downtown core about 90% of the time.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Participate in the requirement analysis and provide solution, technical specs and designs
•Be an advisor as well as a hands-on participant in system design, coding, test, deployment and support.
•Coordinate with other teams to complete the application development and support
•Provide technical guidance to other team members

Technical requirements (must be hands on):
•Java / JAVA EE
•Web Services / JAX-WS / JAXB
•REST + JSON
•JSP, Struts, EJB
•Oracle
•Weblogic
•Large scale web application deployments
