We are looking for a frontend web developer to help with websites and possibly mobile app projects.

The developer should be well versed in CSS, HTML and javascript (or JQuery). Skills should include a strong sense of UX and experience with contemporary frontend development standards.

Growth opportunity:
The position is a freelance position. There are opportunities in the future for a more permanent engagement if the relationship is a good match.

Our projects will include building frontend web templates, building interactive components, and managing development projects from the design phase through launch.

Must enjoy working in teams and helping to integrate design with technology. Ability to effectively communicate your work with both technical and non-technical peers.

Requirements:

Must be able to work from our NYC offices

Required skills:

Strong organizational skills
HTML and HTML5
CSS and tableless layouts
Experience working with Javascript libraries, primarily jQuery to create dynamic and visually engaging user experiences* Strong understanding of user-experience

Ability to work with APIs (For example: Google Maps or Facebook API)* Mobile website development experience* Experience working with common, open-source Content Management Systems (Drupal, Wordpress, Magento, etc)
