SharePoint Architect/Senior Developer

Responsibilities
• Design detailed navigational models, wireframes and prototypes for user testing and feedback
• Design, develop, and test business applications.
• Create and document usability standards and test plans
• Conduct usability testing and heuristic evaluations of web-based solutions to improve the overall experience
• Write user interface specifications and work closely with engineers to implement designs
• Provide thought leadership and best practice guidance regarding eCommerce and web-based business applications
• Coordinate the activities of user experience project resources, including visual designers, copywriters and user interface developers

Knowledge, Skills & Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• In-depth understanding of the capabilities of Windows SharePoint Server 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010
• Ability to communicate with clients at all levels
• Experience in application development with strong experience in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (as an application development platform); Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and Active Service Pages.
• Additional hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Windows Communication Foundation; Windows Presentation Foundation and Silverlight; Biz Talk; Windows Mobile and Compact .NET Framework; Dynamics CRM (as an application development platform); SQL Server; Analysis Services and PerformancePoint Server
• Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Implementation experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization)
• Proven track record of translating business requirements into highly usable, best-in-class designs for web sites and web-based applications
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated experience and an understanding of multi-channel distribution business models
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to come up with the best solution for given requirements.
• Ability to provide reasonably accurate estimates for projects, based on client-provided technical and functional requirements.
• Experience designing B2C eCommerce solutions
• Prototyping/wire framing tools such as Microsoft Visio, Serena Composer, Illustrator or other web-based tools; experience with rich media such as Flash/Flex or AJAX; visual design skills, and experience with client-side programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are desirable
• Technical certifications a plus
