Senior Performance Engineer

Build additional functionality based on customer requirements and make code production quality as needed. Extend the program generation technology to support new algorithms for new processors and computing platforms including working with compilers and assembler. Manage large environment and additional staff in the future.

Should have good problem solving skills:

· Top down drilling down from top level functions to systems level for bug fixes

· Improve system performance

· Figure out code with minimal documentation

· Customize for different hardware architectures -- large systems to mobile devices

·

In addition, should be a fast learner:

· Adapt/learn different hardware architectures

· Learn proprietary language

· Take on assignments with enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

· B.S./M.S./PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering (with strong software emphasis), or equivalent.

· Proficiency in C/C++ and program parallelization.

· Expertise in performance optimization or optimizing compiler technology.

· An understanding of algorithmic development focused on performance issues.

· Excellent technical communication skills.
