We are looking for an IT Specialist/Analyst for our client, an Organization that representsAir Line Pilots Internationally.The IT Specialist will be solely responsible for the entire IT network and technical aspects of internal telecoms. This is an exciting professional development opportunity to work for an ambitious and friendly organisation currently undergoing a period of change. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and will be responsible not only for the implementation and support of the existing infrastructure, hardware and software, but also for driving innovation through IT. Responsibilities:Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate IT concepts to stakeholders in clear language. You will ideally be passionate with strong business understanding, some project management and change management skills and the ability to prioritise and self-motivate. Technically the ideal candidate will have solid support experience of a Microsoft based environment including most of the following:Technical RequirementsBasic virtualisation (VMware preferred)Windows Server 2008 support and proactive maintenanceExchange 2010
Symantec Backup ExecBasic physical network and patchingMicrosoft Access experience would be advantageousPHP (or any transferable high-level language skills, web or otherwise)Some exposure to CMS based website hosting or managementUnderstanding of ITIL principlesProject management and change management skills
