Quartech Systems Limited requires a Senior .Net Developer with Team Lead experience for a Vancouver based contract opportunity.

Position Description
• Leads a development team on a variety of business solution development projects on the Microsoft .NET platform
• Works with solutions architect(s) and business analysts on application design
• Responsible for the delivery of the technical solution
• Assists with development of practices and procedures related to the department with an adherence to industry and corporation standards, as well as develops and maintains documentation supporting these procedures and processes
• Proactively resolves complex technical issues and demonstrates innovative thinking by regularly making recommendations for new approaches to technology

Minimum Qualifications
• 5 years development experience on the Microsoft Windows platform
• 3 years development experience with Microsoft .NET with C#
• 2 years experience as a development team lead
• 2 years experience developing multi-tier solutions with Microsoft .NET

Desired Skills and Experience
• Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework
• Experience with Microsoft Communications Foundation
• Experience with AJAX development
• Experience with UML and Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
