This is an exciting opportunity for a Software QA Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX and build products that will be deployed around the world solving critical problems -- not just *another* social app to share funny kitten pictures. We are looking for an engineer who will be responsible for conducting product lifecycle audits for software as well as system development projects; documenting the results of process and compliance audits and effectively reporting results to program management. Further responsibilities include developing, updating and maintaining organizational standards and quality assurance documentation related to system and software development projects; assisting program management in defining and collecting System/Software metrics and performing limited statistical analysis;submitting written and oral reports of quality issues to Program and Quality management; and facilitating and implementing process improvements using industry practices such as Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) CMMI Guidelines, ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C.

**MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR A U.S. PERSON WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE.**

Minimum Requirements:
* 3 -- 5 years experience in software development or Quality Assurance performing software process and product quality audits and supporting process improvement initiatives
* Change management experience and software or product development life cycle knowledge
* Have excellent customer communication/interaction and presentation skills
* Have written skills to accurately describe technical processes/requirements
* Be self-directed with strong problem solving skills, process set-up and program launch skills
* Knowledge of the SEI's CMMI-DEV model and ISO 9001:2008.
* Good working knowledge of computers, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel) and some Database experience
* Experience developing software and using project/configuration management tools is a plus

Desired Qualifications:
* BS degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 3 years experience or 7 years of work-related experience
* Experience in Agile/Scrum development
* Have a proactive approach to Quality Assurance execution and a strong ability to influence change
* Experience facilitating Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Action/Preventive Action process improvement initiatives using the PDCA (Plan Do Check Act), fish-bone diagrams, 8 Disciplines Corrective Action Reporting (8D CAR), and/or industry best practices
* Certifications related to system and/or software quality assurance (i.e., CQE, SQA, ISO9001, AS9100 or CMMI) will be considered a plus
