BurrellesLuce Information Service is looking for an experienced .NET developer to work on developing new systems and enhance existing ones.

The candidate will be working on all aspects of design, development and implementation of complex, robust and reliable solutions in a Microsoft-centric infrastructure.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Analyzes, designs, and develops reliable software solutions
• Diagnoses software failures by reviewing system logs, dumps and other information from users or technical personnel; identifies and/or develops solutions
• Conducts research on emerging application development software products, and standards as required
• Ensures the security and integrity of all systems and data
• Creates unit tests for all code written using automated testing tools
• Ensures that all code, testing scripts and documentation is checked into source code control

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience developing applications using .NET is required
• 2 or more years of experience working with relational database systems (SQL Server or Oracle) is desirable
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and WCF is desirable
• WPF and XML / XSL technologies is preferred
• Test Driven Development is preferred
• Agile Project Management is preferred
• Experience with SVN, JIRA and/or AccuRev is preferred
• College degree is preferred
